The Format of This Course
This is an online course has 5 modules spread over 29 videos.
It will streamline your techniques to fixing the primary problem.
The majority of the content focuses on examination and treatment techniques.
To teach you this effectively the videos are shot in clinic, with detailed close ups of techniques showing you exactly 'where' to put your hands and 'what' to do.
Ribs can be real 'tricksters' and the ability to examine and treat them effectively is a crucial to maximizing your treatments.
The Rib Groups
There are 3 distinct groups of Ribs.
Rib 1
Ribs 2 - 10, and
The Floating Ribs.
Each of these groups causes different problems and requires different treatment.
"The Hidden Spanner"
Ribs are often be the hidden spanner. When your struggling to 'fix' a thoracic issue it is usually ribs that are the problem and clients often don't tell you about their ribs because they don't know it's the ribs that are giving them the issue in the first place!
Ribs That Ruin Treatment
You can have nail treatment of the spine, neck and pelvis but the 'silent spanner ribs' just keep bringing the problem right back.

The Course Syllabus
Module 1 - Rib Presentations and Treatment Approaches
This module focuses on the different rib presentations and how they should be handled in regard to examination and treatment. It also follows through an acute rib presentation from injury to resolution.
Module 2 - History & Examination
Here we extend your existing skils so that you can be more effective in clinic. We cover the nuances of giveway words in history as well as dig into the most effecient way to do a fast rib examination.
Module 3 - Treating Ribs Two - Ten
Technique is a major component of this course and this module will hone your skills in treating the 'typical ribs'. The Module also includes an 8 step framework for easy learning that breaks down the best technique for treating acute ribs.
Module 4 - Treating The Floating Ribs
Here we cover treatment technique for these unique ribs and their clinical application for the diaphragm and the part they play in long standing chronic back pain.
Module 5 - Treating Rib 1
This rib has huge significance for the neck, the thoracic outlet and for the lymphatics. This module covers treatment technique for this rib in the supine position and discusses this alongside the standard seated technique that is usually taught for rib 1.
