Babies That Won't Let You Touch Their Head

Aug 29, 2016

A question that I get asked a lot when I'm teaching paeds is how do you cope with a baby or young toddler that won't let you touch their head. Now I could spend a whole day discussing this as we could talk for a long time about sensitivity levels of touch of the need to be very grounded, centered and be in your own midline when you work etc etc.

But I actually thought I'd try to be a bit more specific that that, because all those things previously mentioned are very true and important but it's perhaps a bit like saying to someone who is stressed, heh why don't you meditate more, it's true they should but perhaps we could find a more practical piece of advice to help them out!

So this video uses a case scenario to give you practical advice but also hopefully also open you to some new thoughts as well that will give you new avenues to explore when you are treating.

Hope you enjoy the video and please do comment if you'd like clarification - J x
